Putting their money where the mouths are:
COMRES, INC OFFERS CUSTOMER DISCOUNT
FOR DONATING TO THE PANTRY OF BROWARD
July 17, 2008
A leading south Florida communications giant is
offering their thousands of customers a $20 discount on their phone bill this
month if they make a donation to a local food pantry that serves Broward
County's seniors in need.
COMRES, Inc
www.comresusa.com provides telecommunications equipment and services
throughout the tri-county area and installed The Pantry of Broward's
phone system in their new building at 610 NW 3rd Ave in Ft Lauderdale. "That was
when I realized COMRES could help out some of our seniors in need," explained
COMRES Vice President of Operations, Chris White.
"We are a company that wants to be a part of the community where we work and
prosper and so by giving our customers a chance to donate to The Pantry
and receive a credit on their bill, it encourages wider involvement," he
explained.
"COMRES is not only equipping people to communicate, they are also communicating
corporate responsibility and caring," suggested Catherine "Penny" Loughan, Chief
Executive Officer for The Pantry of Broward. This new agency serves seniors on a
fixed income of less than $700 a month and grandparents who take care of their
grandchildren throughout Broward County.
