MAKE A DIFFERENCE DAY
Saturday, October 25, 2008
Make a Difference Day is the nation's largest day of volunteering. This coming
Saturday, October 25th an estimated three million people in the US and around
the world will commit one day to helping others and improving the planet.
The Pantry of Broward would like to invite YOU to become involved this
Saturday by
COLLECTING
FOOD for Broward seniors in need on low, fixed incomes and for grandparents
raising their grandchildren.
It is easy to do - please just ask your friends and neighbors for a few cans of
food that you can collect for the elderly. Please check out our website
and become more informed on the challenges facing our seniors. Raid
your own pantry and get rid of those cans which have been sitting there forever!
You CAN make a difference!
WHAT TO DO WITH THE CANS OF FOOD? Starting Monday, October 27th, you can drop
off the cans of food you collect at any of the eighty-eight Bank of America
branches in Broward County or in north Miami Dade county. There will be
specially marked boxes in each banking center where you can drop the food.
Need more information? Please call us at (954) 358-1481 ext 114. You have always
thought you wanted to help, now is the chance! MAKE A DIFFERENCE DAY.
